Our President

Nadia Shash is the President and Chief Executive Officer of PolyCon Solutions. She brings over a decade of professional and federal acquisitions business services experience.  In her many roles, Ms. Shash has prepared and managed various types of contracts totaling over a billion dollars in support of national technical and systems programs. She has briefed and advised programs on pre- and post-award procurement guidelines/regulations, managed source selection teams and provided audit, policy and oversight support.  In addition to her direct acquisition professional work, Ms. Shash was a member of a large-scale civil and criminal litigation team in Washington, D.C. She was responsible for analyzing, researching and advising others on complex case documents, reviewing case materials and presenting findings and evidence at strategy meetings.

Ms. Shash is a licensed attorney and member of the State Bar of Georgia and the District of Columbia Bar. While with the federal government, she held a Level III Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting and an Unlimited Warrant. Ms. Shash obtained her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.S. from University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.

Kathy Simpkins is the Vice President of Operations for PolyCon Solutions. She has over 15 years of experience in providing acquisition strategy and planning, contract management, and business and financial management support. Ms. Simpkins has held numerous leadership roles while serving as a trusted advisor to both Government and commercial clients. She assists our clients in achieving their strategic and tactical objectives through her analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. Ms. Simpkins has used her comprehensive understanding of the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS), along with her in-depth acquisition program management experience, to successfully lead multi-disciplinary customer teams.

Ms. Simpkins is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with degrees in Economics and Political Science, and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Howard University. She has been PMP certified since 2016 and is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) as a Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).
